The constant quest for knowledge...
To gain knowledge of the bakery, patisserie and chocolate businesses, training is an essential and on-going process. Puratos Canada's training programs are tightly related to research and development to stay up-to-date with recent market, customer and consumer developments.
Developing any business goes hand in hand with better training and education. Whilst training starts at schools and colleges, it must remain an important reflection opportunity for experienced professionals. We at Puratos Canada, try to explore different orientations together with you in order to fulfill our mission: To help bakers, patissiers and chocolatiers across Canada to be more successful with their business.
Through in-depth training sessions and demonstrations, we share our knowledge and exchange ideas on products and processes like enzymes, sourdough, non-dairy toppings and chocolate. We approach and analyse various subjects such as frozen dough and ways to extend the shelf life of baked goods. We also exchange ideas on a wide variety of topics, from new and popular flavour combinations to the latest consumer trends and government legislation and even topics like mass produced artisan breads....the list is endless....
To generate new ideas and develop business on specific topics, our demonstrators periodically focus on themes such as seasonal trends, convenience or snacking ideas.
