Longo's look for a new and innovative concept for their Mother's Day event....

Longo Brothers Fruit Market Inc., a family owned business in the Greater Toronto Area of Canada, was started by the Longo family in 1956. The first store was located in Toronto with the first location sized at approximately 2,000 square feet. In 1962, the Longo brothers opened their second store and since then, their business as well as the family's involvement in it, has grown exponentially. They have an extensive assortment of grocery, dairy, frozen and Longo's private label products. From the very beginning, Longo's have buillt a reputation on a strong commitment to quality, service and value. In 2004, Longo's acquired Grocery Gateway, a 24 hours a day, seven days a week online grocery delivery service that offers customers the convenience of grocery shopping without having to leave their home.

They were looking for a new and innovative concept for their Mother's Day event, and we introduced a bouquet of strawberries dipped in our decadent Carat range of chocolate. A pleasant alternative to a bouquet of flowers, the event commenced Friday through Sunday of the Mother's Day weekend (11th May, 2007 to 13th May, 2007) and turned out to be a success.

In the coming weeks we will further associate ourselves with Longo's with the launch of some innovative variants from Belcolade - The Real Belgian Chocolate. The uniqueness of this selected range will be revealed through a collection of 4 dark and 2 milk chocolates. To provide maximum pleasure for chocoholics across Canada, we use only natural vanilla, and do not add any flavours or lecithine.
